First off, waiting tables is fine if your in college. Or if your single with no kids. But it’s no “career” by any means. There are things called benefits, retirement, insurance. Adults need those things these days. I don’t know too many 50 year old waitresses out there making a good life. She may be beautiful and witty, but that doesn’t pay the bills.
