It's not racist. Monkey ears is not racist. Donkey ears is not, it implies "Jack Ass". Lastly, black people like shiny stuff. That is not racist. It's empirical data. From corporate executives down to street thugs, black people like flashy shiny things. Spin it however you want, one only has to walk onto the street and observe. Flashy jewelry, brightly colored ties, shirts, shiny flashy shoes, etc. etc. They do in Africa, they do in Canada, they do in Europe. Just because you identify a trend within a race does not make you racist. Unfortunately flashiness has a negative connotation.

Everyone needs to chill, it doesn’t matter if what they are saying is racist or not. They have the rite to free speech. Good or bad right or wrong it’s their rite. People like to bash Bush, calling him name and what not but those same people get upset if you talk sh*t about Obama. Some people need to grow up, and stop playing the Race card. And before anyone starts saying I don’t know what I’m talking about, let me just say I’m not white.
I am not sure the important thing here is racism. I believe it is a total lack of respect for the office of the president of the United States. I deeply disliked everything George Bush stood for, but when he won the election, I wished him luck. In having good hopes for him I had good hopes for the country I love. That said, when we were children, if we had a loving parent trying to point us in the right direction we were taught not to call people names and make hurtful comments on their looks. People who do that are small minded – and that is all they have in their arsenal to work with. I see people on both sides making mean comments based on race. To the black community I would say there were white people who got into those buses and died trying to fix what they saw as a wrong. To the white community I would point out men of all races have died on the battle field trying to protect what out country stands for. And if any of you go to another country you will not be black or white or Mexican – you will be judged to be Americans. We should love each other.
