Check you facts because your analogy is stupid. If one group is 78.1% of the population, it is expected to have a higher number than other group, who only makes up 17.9% of the population!!! So the other group could have 4 times the percentage of benefit receivers than whites.

The thing that really is disappointing is that people are still talking of the Presidential election and how we’re “dying” now, but I’m hearing NO responses about local elections, with the exception of the legalization of gay marriage, mentioned above. Even before the election, I’d mention any of the Proposals and people would look at you like you grew another head while talking to them. They go by the commercials, which are nothing but misleading mud-slinging.
Local elections are SO important. You need to care about your State first and foremost when going to the polls to vote. Hopefully many other States will follow Colorado and legalize marijuana for adult recreational use. It’d be better for their State’s economy and maybe even tourism. And better for people with flaky dealers. I don’t mind a tax at all in the name of helping the economy, and it WILL.
