David Bertschi Liberal Leader or Wife Beater
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, David Bertschi is trying to become the next leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. The worst kept secret in Ottawa though is that he beats his wife and was even arrested for it a few years back. He also cheats on her on a regular basis. Nik this guy is a fraud and doesn’t deserve to be leading our country.

I know some of it is true. So many times he would flirt with me at work and make inappropriate jokes to me. He has a really weird marriage too.

He’s a politician in a leadership race. True or not, dirt is bound to be said by those on opposing sides. If he was arrested for it there should be proof out there.
Instead of just commenting on the nature of the individuals who posted/commented, you could comment on “your boys” dad’s character. Maybe back him up a little if you feel he isn’t the person denoted in the post.

I love Canada but the politics here are seriously dry as hell. I grew up with parents who constantly watched CNN. Yeah I am not saying we did not watch local news or that I am an expert in the subject, but I grew up watching mostly American politics. My mom would literally have it on all day in many occasions. Notice how barely anyone comments under this post versus the posts about American Government even though Nik has a lot of Canadian viewers. So, in essence, I guess I am wondering what that says about our Country. WTF Not important just a random ‘rant’.

He is a slime ball. All the employees at his firm know it. Constant sexual harrassment and the like. I am sure this is all true.

I am completely affronted by the total lack of truth in this post. I’m sorry, but spreading hateful rumours like this without any shred of evidence is not only defamatory, but also hurtful to both the person falsely accused and his family who love and respect him. No child should be exposed to such awful slander being thrown at their father.
Being a close family friend (far closer than any of these defamers), I know much about this family and know that David is a caring and loving father and husband. Not to mention the fact that his wife is one of the most strong-willed, independent woman that I know who would never stay with such a disrespectful man.
I suspect that these defamers are just a bunch of disgruntled ex-employees who haven’t gotten over their dismissal.

Sounds like real professional journalism to me, not at all like the simplest way to defame people with outright lies and not stand behind the allegations.
this is horrible. I cant believe people who used to work for david are on this post talking shit about his actions to others and comments he may or may not of said. i find it funny that these former employees can make time to write such awful things and be so disrespectful. David is an amazing person. He cares deeply for others and is a well respected memeber of ottawa. He may have his faults but which man doesnt… He doesnt beat his wife, he has an amazing marriage and has a beautiful family, he works hard for the city that and every religion culture and economic background. now im not someone from his campaogn….or a friend. i know his family and i can speak for his character and respect. forums like this bring the cowards out of everyone cause i can assure you former employees didnt think this crap when you were graciously kissing his ass and accepting his friendship while takinghis money. look in the mirror step away from your iphones and spit at the reflection you see because thats what you deserve to be making up such defamatory allegations. David Bertschi is a solid citizen and a family man. I have known David (Mr. Bertschi) and his wife since I was a child.
He was very good friends with my parents so I can honestly say he is not a “wife beater”.
David’s wife is a strong woman and a successful lawyer and litigator herself. She is his partner in law as well as life and they make a good team. She can take care of herself.
David has taken action against this website and so will his wife.
