Kansas City Chiefs Player Jovan Belcher Loses His Mind
Via TMZ.com: Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend early this morning and then drove to the team facility where he then killed himself, this according to the Kansas City Police Department. Police Capt. David Lindaman says that Belcher and his girlfriend — who had just given birth to the couple’s child three months earlier — began arguing around 7:00 AM local time.
Lindaman says Belcher shot the woman multiple times and she was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police says the girlfriend’s mother witnessed the shooting. Police say Belcher left the scene and drove to the stadium where he was confronted by team personnel, including GM Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel. According to police, they tried to keep Belcher from committing additional acts of violence. Just as police arrived on the scene, they heard a gunshot and discovered Belcher had shot himself in the head. Belcher had been with the Chiefs for four seasons after being undrafted out of the University of Maine.

Now reports that Belcher was with a Britney Glass having dinner and drunk. Fell asleep outside her building after leaving in car. Police found him. He went back in. Then left to go home at 7 a.m. Then fought with live in girlfriend. And we all know what happened from there. People this guy lived in a rental house. I live in this area. And that neighborhood is not an NFL player home area. So finances must not have been that great. He told the Kcpd that his girlfriend lived in the building. So he had two women at once. What else can happen ?!!!

It’s only tragic because the girlfriend and baby as well as the family of the girlfriend and Jovan’s family got the shit end of the deal. However, Jovan was selfish in his act of suicide. I wonder why he thought it was necessary to commit such a horrible thing. Im sure whatever the situation was it could have been resolved and two lives could have been spared. Im sorry but I do NOT feel sorry or any remorse for Jovan, I do feel remorse for the girlfriend and the baby girl since she is now left without two parents…and for what?! an act of selfishness. Thats really all I got for now…
