Miss Black Virginia 2013
THE DIRTY ARMY: Miss Black Virginia USA 2013, Natasha Stovall failed to make an apperance at her own charity event in DC. My company was approached by Shannon Quarles (who represents Miss Natasha) in October of 2012 to host a private shopping event for Natasha Stovall, where there would catered food, raffle items, and party favors. We even agreed to a 10% proceed donation to Miss Natasha’s charity, which supports children and reading. My company followed through on all aspects of the planning, when the day came, Natasha Stovall and Shannon Quarles pretty much vanished. After purchasing everything thing Shannon Quarles requested that be served at this event, and having a double staffed team awaiting her, she failed to answer calls, emails, and texts. None of her 30 guests showed up either that night, which makes it clear she never invited any. While going above and beyond during the busiest time of the year it is shocking that someone of this stature would be elected to represent an entire state. It saddens us that in the season of giving that she would allow an opprotunity to pass by. Point blank, these children will not be getting books for Christmas thanks to Miss Black Virginia 2013′s actions.

exactly. its a joke. arent they the ones constantly whining and preaching about equality? how is this equality? its funny how america had a civil war between white people for these morons.
Yes it was wrong for her not to show up or to not respond or give notice of her not attending her own event, but the rude comments are not neccessary. Educate yourself before you try to insult someone. Did you forget you have miss America which is primarily white Americans, miss Asian America, miss latina! There are numerous pagents that are race speific to asians and etc…Google is your best friend.
Miss black America is not an organization where they feel they have a special purpose but it is to recognizes the fact young black women are activists in their communities. As a black women we are sterotyped everyday as lazy, uneducated and degraded because society shows us as big booty, big breast video girls. This young lady has good intentions but poor management and poor judgement. It’s sad that you feel that way about Miss Black America.
By being miss black america u r representing a community….and this falls right into your stereotype LAZY and DISRESPECTFUL. obviously ur trying to say that this organization is helping break barriers and stereotypes so u would think miss black america would work extra hard to go against them. Actions speak louder then words and when u put ur name to a event ur representing yourself and community.
