This is “Cyber-Bullying”. My daughter was the victim of cyber-bullying. She took her own life in 2009. I want everyone who reads and posts on websites like this to know the impact they have on people’s lives. I know the reason why people post such terrible and cruel lies about others on sites like this. They have deep seeded issues in their own lives, and they take it out on others. You may think it’s all fun and games. Maybe you’re out for revenge, maybe you’re jealous, maybe it’s over a boy or a girl you like. But please, take the time to consider the impact of your words. What if the people you target actually see what you say? What if they see that others comment and read these stories? My daughter Tiffany took her own life because a few children posted mean things like this on the internet about her. She was beautiful and full of life. Everything that was said about her on the internet was said out of teenage angst. I understand you children have angst, and have anger, but you take it out on the innocent. I pray to God every day that the children of the world today can overcome their hatred, overcome their angst. So that no other parent will have to bury their own child over something so frivolous again. It is a true shame that you feel so much hate and anger. I’m truly sorry your parents didn’t love you the way I loved my daughter. She shouldn’t have died. She shouldn’t have been a victim of mean girls like you. Please, consider every thing you put on the Internet. Once something is on the Internet, it’s forever. And because of sites like this, and children like you, my daughter will never grow old. She will never get married or have children. I will never have grandchildren. I will mourn her the rest of my life because a few girls like you, thought she was different. I pray you find peace in your hearts, because until cyber-bullying stops, I will have no peace in mine.
