THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, here is the woman that God made again Tara Booher. I saw the last post about her and I think you are crazy talking bad about her. The girl is perfect dude… do you need some glasses? You were talking about how bad her nose is and that you never would, but I don’t see anything wrong with her nose. To me, her face is nearly flawless and perfect and those eyes are totally to die for. Here are a few pics, what are your thoughts now?

I get it, it’s a schtick and it is quite amusing. Plus, nothing wrong with having a disciplined personal code of conduct, as this is a clear reflection of one’s character.
Having said that, being overly critical and explicitly expressing that you (or those who are as overly critical as you seem to be) would not “hit” 90% of these chicks who appear on The Dirty (if ever had the opportunity) is the wrong approach and here’s why:

Now, I don’t wish any ill will toward you as you wished upon me, but you seem to be a miserable little d*ck/c*nt or perhaps both?!
Nik – I unfortunately have a similar wide nose and already am planning on getting it done. What would you recommend as to what to get done to fix it? It’s slightly sloped but just too wide. Any examples of a good nose for someone like this?
And what will you get next? What if there is a girl with similar toes to you on The Dirty and Nik thinks they’re ugly, will you get toe surgery?
You won’t look perfect with a nose-job, and even if you did look perfect and were uploaded here in the Would You section, and Nik applauded and said “Yes, I would enjoy having sex with this woman”, that in itself won’t make you long-term happy.
That beautiful woman in the picture with the “unfixed nose” isn’t happy JUST because she is beautiful, no-one is, and whatever ways in which you think your life will lastingly improve if you get your nose done will never be reality.
Listen lady I think you need to calm it down. Just because I already want to get a nose job and happen to have a similar schnoz to this chick (who I agree is very attractive) doesn’t mean I’m doing it because that’s what Nik likes. He is married, I don’t know him, and I would never try to sleep with him, or worry about having him validate my attractiveness.
I simply want my nose done because I have wanted it fixed since I was quite young. I mean I’m like the whitest white girl a live (Irish/German, fair skin, blue eyed, dark auburn hair, preppy style) and have a nose that looks like it belongs on a black chick. I just think it looks off and would like it refined. Nik has a good eye for things like noses and sizes for breast implants so I wanted an honest opinion because I don’t want to come out with a weird nose like Scooby Snack or something.
Also worrying about things like finger/toe length, foot size, joint size etc… is asinine. It’s genetic and it’s really improbable and ridiculous to worry about that. However, a nose job is very common and nothing to bash a person for wanting to get. I take good care of myself and try to be my best in all areas of life. I have a good education, a decent job, and work hard to look my best. What is wrong with that? I care about my looks because they are important in life, especially as a female. If you don’t believe that is true then you are sadly mistaken.
So Nik – any suggestions for what to get done to properly refine a nose like this? I’d really appreciate your insight.

I didn’t interpret your comment as meaning that you were interested in Nik, but Nik’s opinion on the way women look is just a reflection of a certain section of society in general, and you having surgery on your nose is an attempt to meet those standards.
Also, the toe surgery comment was just a joke around the fact that the beauty/ fashion/ cosmetic surgery industries want you to feel insecure about your nose so you will spend money trying to look pretty, and once you have that part “fixed”, they will want you to feel insecure about something else, so you will spend more money.
Maybe looks are that important in your life, in my life I have gotten by just fine without having any surgery. That is probably because I have a personality, I am more intelligent than you and I care about deeper things. I surround myself with similar people who don’t treat me like or expect me to be a mere decoration just because I am female.
But I wish you luck and I hope your nose doesn’t go wrong.

The way I see it is this, I am happy and healthy with great friends and family. I am not relying on a man to support me and I have never been made fun of or looked down on for my nose or looks in general. So if I feel that I would like to spend my own hard earned income on surgical enhancement than that is my business.

If you felt shamed by my comments that’s unfortunate, but my intention was never to do any deliberate “shaming”. You mentioned your opinion that beauty is important in order to succeed in life, especially for women, and I was telling you my differing opinion and the reasons that I believe it ie. that I don’t desire surgery to fix my own flaws because I value my own intelligence, personality etc. over the way I look, and they are enough for me.
I personally don’t think anything I said was cruel because I never set out to hurt your feelings, I just felt disturbed that you would ask someone like Nik Richie for surgery advice because I felt that that implied that you had unreasonably high standards for the way you should look and wanted to make you, and other’s like you, think about that.
