Lead Singer Of The Lostprophets Remanded In Custody For Alleged Child Sex Offences
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I’m not sure if you are familiar with this case. Ian Watkins, the lead singer of the Lostprophets, is being charged with child sex offences. I’ve been following this case since he was arrested earlier in December. Sites like NME have reported that he’s remanded into custody until March. This is what he is being charged with:
“Watkins is accused of conspiracy to rape a one-year-old girl. He has been charged with two incidents of conspiring to engage in sexual touching with two young children and four offences relating to making, possessing and distributing indecent images of children (NME).”
I was a fan of the group and I am completely shocked by these charges! I know he’s innocent until proven guilty but damn… if he is being remanded it must be serious, right?

There are lots of horrible, violent, evil people in prisons, and even they look down on scum like this. Some have children that they worry about on the outside; some have been abused in their own childhoods. They will see to it that true justice is served when the guards’ backs are turned.

From reading the articles I have come to the conclusion that one might have been the mother (offering her child) and the other was sort of a middle woman in the process I guess. They haven’t released much information on the women except that they are facing similar charges. Thankfully, the child was not harmed.
