Tim goes to great lengths to distance himself from any association with criminals (at least on paper). He even has indicated he has aspirations of running in politics. Yet now you are saying he is withholding information that would likely be in public’s interest.
So I surmise that Tim will Rat out those so that he may gain; and Tim will only hide information so that he may gain.

Just a side note I am no way really connected to Tim and Laura. I know them both from running into them over time. I don’t care for either of them. But I do think, as everyone involved in this situation are adults, that there could be an alternative way to letting two people going through a rough separation take their own lives and let them choose the course it ends.
