Shamed Bengals Cheerleader Vs Nik Richie: Judge Rules Mistrial, Have To Redo Trial All Over Again
Radar Online: The judge presiding over the multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit shamed Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader and convicted felon, Sarah Jones, brought against TheDirty.com and it’s founder, Nik Richie, ruled a mistrial Friday after the jury reached a stalemate, and RadarOnline.com has exclusive details from inside the court, and Richie’s take on the proceedings
“The jury just ruled that they couldn’t make a decision,” Richie told Radar shortly after leaving court. “Which means it was a mistrial and we have to do this whole thing all over again.”
As previously reported, Jones, 27, from Covington, Kentucky, was convicted three months ago of having sex with a student who, at the time was just 17, and she’s now suing Richie, and his popular Scottsdale, Arizona-based website, for $11 million, claiming defamation and invasion of privacy over alleged lewd comments made about her.
All a big waste of taxpayer money to continue this legal farce.

Most of you don’t even know the details of the case-in which posting comments makes you look silly. Although I don’t agree with some of the decisions Sarah Jones has made, I’m no one to judge and I won’t. However, what most don’t understand is the comments made about her on this website and the lawsuit filed were made long before the Cody scandal and her felony charge.
Eric Deters waxed Nik’s attorneys asses in the courtroom-they said it themselves when his attorneys told the AP photographer they “think they’re going to lose.” It was 9-1 in favor of Jones meaning Nik and this website got off by the skin of their teeth.
Like I said, I don’t agree with the things Sarah Jones does, but she is protected by the constitution too. I just want this awful website shut down and mark my words-the day will come. It’s only a matter of time.

Consider the facts — Sarah sued Nik because of something that a THIRD PARTY posted on this site. Deters then had a tizzy in court trying to blame Nik because Nik couldn’t prove the post was true.

For a woman who had sex with a minor and lied to police, her employer & staff, the kids at her school where she taught, her parents and to God she sure isn’t shy. If you were truly remorseful you wouldn’t want anymore attention drawn to yourself, you would want this chapter closed and sealed for no one to ever find out. Years back, I remember reading about Jerry Falwell suing Larry Flynt for defamation or slander because he printed a drawing in Hustler mag showing Falwell in bed with his mother. The judge supposedly asked Falwell if anyone actually believed he had sex with his mother and JF said no. I think the judge dismissed the lawsuit immediately if I remember correctly.
