Iranian President Has Volunteered To Become First From His Country To Go Into Space
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, so Iran sent over a monkey into space and now Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has volunteered to become the first person sent into space by his country’s fledgling space program. I don’t know if the guy is serious or if they will be using a body double for him that will be sent into space. It seems crazy to me that a leader of a country would take a chance on his life for no purpose. Why is Iran so set on going into space? They are so behind.

I like how people criticize other countries for not being modernized but when those countries attempt to make any progress, they get criticized for that as well.
uhhh lots of reasons. as i stated before, if you can shoot an animal (or human) into space and have it survive all the stuff associated with that; then you can start shooting all sorts of stuff into space and probably have it work. satellites, for communications and spying and even other stuff. bombs, i doubt the term icbm means anything to you, but it involves tons of death and space. even other reasons that i’m not thinking about.
