Nik, Educate Yourself On The “Refund Gap”

THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I know the refund gap is a popular topic on here, but I really think you need to dig a little deeper when it comes to understanding why the gap occurs. It has to do with anatomy, not the surgeon. Let me clarify, how the breast augmentation will look afterwards has largely to do with how the breasts look pre-operatively. Some women have breasts that are naturally spaced far apart, where others may have them closer together, once again, this is anatomy. The implant is placed to be centered underneath the nipple, so if the nipples are far apart, this creates the “refund gap.” The gap can also occur if the breast tissue is too thin and the implant size is too great to blend with the natural tissue. Just thought you should know the logistics instead of instantly yelling “REFUND GAP!”
You are wrong. Justify your REFUND Gap however you want.- nik

OP is 100% right.
then women with naturally wide spaced breasts shouldn’t get implants, because they’re going to repel each other like same pole ends of magnets.
A GOOD doctor should be able to open the breast pocket in the middle of the chest so that the implants come together more than the patients natural breasts do. Check out Dr. David E Kim from Beverly Hills. His before and afters prove this can be done!
A common misconception is that your breasts will look like a larger version of what you already have but that is just a crap doctor telling you so. Go to someone who can give you what you really want.
OP is right. I went to 5 different surgeons, with good reputations charging upwards of 12K, when my GF got them and they all said the same thing: All implants do is enhance your current anatomy. The only thing they can do cosmetically is decrease nipple size.
Instead of #$%ing on refund gaps, maybe we start praising those without. Girls without gaps didn’t have bad surgeons, they are superior genetically. Either way, i’ll take implants over none anyday, regardless what they look like
This poster is actually correct. Minding the fact that a bad surgeon can make the gap look far worse than a good one would but still the gap is mostly determined by the female’s anatomy and not the placement of the implant (regardless if under the muscle, or above.)
Smart poster! Knows whats up
nik likes to pretend hes a board certified cosmetic surgeon.
Nik YOU are wrong on this one. Why don’t you open up your mind to the truth?
OP is right but a bad surgeon doesn’t help the matter!
Nik can’t handle the truth
Poster is right. How can you, Nik, judge someone by their looks if you don’t even have the basic education of anatomy?
Poster I agree, Nik you look dumb.
Yep! It all depends on the size of the sternum
OP might be right but that doesn’t discount the fact that it looks bad.
getting them three sizes too large doesn’t help matters. most hos would have refund gaps if their surgeons stuck to a reasonable size. you can’t count on dumb bimbos to know what size will make them look good. surgeons ought to know better.
Can someone buy me some? Gap or no gap. Please.
The ITG is also purely genetic. It has nothing to do with the amount of mayonnaise a woman might apply to her sandwich bread.
He’s right! I have +2s and was worried about having a big gap. My surgeon explained the same to me as the poster just did, all anatomy just like the ITG! Some women like myself could starve and my thighs will never have the ITG. I’m not a fatty, but do have naturally larger thighs and bottom.
This is soooooooo true!! Thank god someone was nice enough to educate him for once. If you are blessed with beautiful shaped breast post op, you will have amazing boobs after you get them done. Your breast shape doesn’t change after you get them done. I have 400cc and l still have my same shape. NO refund gap.
so how do girls get these wonky nipples? do they cut the nipples off then sew them back on? i think they used to do that in the 80s. imagine nipples that are spaced far apart and they put the implants close but didnt put them directly under the nipple and the nipples were all opposite of cross eyed. im confused!? HA
Nik knows nothing. His first fuck up was when the ITG poster called his ass out on anatomy and now he’s getting his ass handed to him with the refund gap.
Nik will never admit he’s wrong. He’s just a cocky Persian who thinks he’s high & mighty. Just like the Kardashians he will never admit he’s a dumbass
Nik, this is coming from multiple certified plastic surgeons who often answer this same question. I am the poster, but I do not have breast augmentation, but I do know some ladies who have a gap after surgery. Take a basic college class on human anatomy, it might blow your mind.
I work for a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon and this posting is 100% correct. Sorry Nik, but its all about the anatomy. I’ve been wanting to write something before about it but I knew you would still think you’re right, so why argue. Anyways…whoever reads this posting will get educated on why some girls have bigger gaps than others. Not because of a botched Breast Augmentation.
refund gap all ya want. it will always be spelling canyon to me.
The original poster is right and wrong. I have seen tons of girls who’s real breasts were not far apart, end up with a horrible gap. If you naturally have boobs that are super far apart, of course you’ll have a gap.
If your breasts were originally close together and you end up with a huge gap, it can be the surgeons doing.
I had a girlfriend with breasts that were close together naturally. She got implants and had a HUGE refund gap.
She got them redone and now they are close together, and that’s not the first time I’ve seen that happen.
Ok bye now.
Sometimes it has to do with the size of the implant. Some surgeons wont do a size too big that will increase surgery risks and gap, but some will give their patient what they want. My +2s aren’t nearly as big as I want but I am tiny and any bigger there would definitly be a gap
Ok, so OP is kinda correct anatomy plays a part but the surgeon talent and skill are important too. And really think abou it, how many plastic surgeons are going to say, yes refund gaps are caused by our incompetence or are they going to say its your natural anatomy nothing we can do… I mean seriously don’t drink the kool aid plastic surgeons have a motivation to lie about these things…
Anybody notice Nik’s picture on his wallpaper has zero acne scars…..Mr.Photoshop is for liars? The irony.
I’ve always noticed that when chicks get their implants, and then the lifestyle they have usually makes them lose weight they get a wicked bad refund gap.
Lose all the weight you plan to, then get implants. Then you’ll just make em feel softer and more natural if you do gain any weight.
I naturally have boobs that are further apart because of my rounded rib cage. I got implants and although they do not touch in the middle they DO NOT have that “cliff” look. There is a natuaral slope to them. Niks right, I paid more to have one of the top surgeons do mine. worth it!
Poster is wrong. You can close the gap between breasts. Your surgeon needs to be highly skilled. He needs to disect the pocket larger, medially. Also use a implant wider than your Bwd. (Breast width diameter). Dr. Don Revis in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. David E Kim. Very amazing surgeons.
Gross. Why waste your money when they are obviously fake? Don’t girls get breast implants to feel more real and womanly? Gap is nasty ladies.
