Pope Benedict Is Quitting
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, so Pope Benedict said in a historic announcement he no longer had the mental and physical strength to run the Roman Catholic Church and would become the first pontiff in more than 700 years to resign, leaving his inner circle “incredulous”. The Church has been rocked during Benedict’s nearly eight-year papacy by child sexual abuse crises and Muslim anger after the pope compared Islam to violence. Jews were upset over rehabilitation of a Holocaust denier and there was scandal over the leaking of the pope’s private papers by his personal butler. It obvious he is the first pope to ever quit for a reason, the guy has done some dirt and I think its starting to come to light. What do you think?

What the f**k does a Pope do besides sitting in stupid costumes and waving at people? Why do they always pick 400 year old guys? ugh it’s so extra and pathetic
What on earth does a Pope do when he hangs up the Bishops Mitre? Does he hit the links? Go on a book tour? Stay in the backyard drinking pina coladas and feeding the pigeons?
Honestly when I look at him all I see is an old man, mentally and physically exhausted, he may have been the pope but he is still an OLD man. Now he can spend the rest of his remaining years of life free to live a quiet life.
…..if he wanted a quiet life, he shouldn’t have become the pope….. especially as it seems to usually to be a ’til death’ kind of job, what with that whole devoting your life to God thing.

oh the dirt is still to come out on this…. they are doing a great job distracting you and pushing u away from the truth….. for those who followed the pope’s life there are a lot of past allegations and accusations which recently came back to bite the church……..so what happens when a president does something that would embarrass the presidency he steps down or resigns before it comes to light…. hence the same here…
Maybe he opened an 8th grade Science textbook and found out what he represents is… “a little outdated”?
