Im 21 so I was like 17/18 when the whole scene thing was big and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t go through a stage when I skateboarded of wearing tight jeans and gauging my ears (worst decision ever but thankfully they closed). The person above me is right, That whole stage dies after 18 when you realize you can’t make it in the world these days dressing like that. So just like Hollister, American Eagle, Aero, Armani Exchange etc all of that crap went out of style 5 years ago and I’d prefer not seeing it make a comeback.

Unfortunately this is a new emerging trend with scene kids. They call it Bobble head. They like bobbing their heads slowly to the tempo of a song. The big hair makes the the bobbing head look cool.
I think it looks freakish. I had a friend who did this to her hair for years…and stopped a few years back. It wasn’t about Bobble, it had some other name that I can’t think of. Had nothing to do with music. I thought it looked dumb then and still do.
Aside from that, I think this girl looks like a huge “poser”. Her house is plain jane, nothing in it resembles freak, and this look just doesn’t fit her…at all. In a few yrs, she will look back on it and go OMG, what was I thinking????
