If you own a popular club in a major US city, you pretty much have a license to print money. What other business can buy a bottle of alcohol for $50 then immediately re-sell it for $600? What other business charges its customers $50 just for the privilege of entering the establishment to spend more money? As the owner of a nightclub, if you can keep the bottles flowing, the music pumping and the crowds lining up, you will be a very happy person and your bank account will get huge. Now I understand how the richest DJs in the world can demand $100-200k for a single set. But out of all the clubs in America, which make the most money every year? Out of the top 100 grossing nightclubs, 25 are located in California, with 15 in Los Angeles alone. 22 of the clubs are located in Las Vegas, 10 are in New York City and five are in Chicago. The rest are scattered around the country.

but this is relevant. from a business perspective i would like to know
a) is there really this many idiots in the world that spend so much to “live the life”

b) is there this much money laundry happening in such institutions?

Mangos’s is on south beach been there for years and huge with tourist and is always packed

I live in Ocean City, MD…seacrets does 95% of their 15-25 million between May & September…. insane!
Vegas has 8 out of 10 of the top clubs. Bringing in 350M a year. With a large percentage of the customers not even living in state. Gotta love Vegas
Seacrets @ 15 is crazy impressive when you understand that Ocean City MD is a tourist town that’s only busy between Memorial Day & Labor Day! If you haven’t been Nik you should totally roll!

Liv run is over, wont be on this list next year. Owners have tried to saturate sobe w story and now paying the saturation effect.
couldnt agree more, has anyone been there lately? looks like a ghost town, girls are ugly and the bookings suck. greed has turned the best place in the beach to a ghost town. story sucks hope some one has something big planned for a new club

I really dont think strip clubs gross more. Honestly. Because there is no way to track what the girls themselves make. which is at least 50-90% of the clubs revenue. And nobody buys overpriced bottles at a strip club.

Mangos shouldnt be consideres a club. It US on Océano Drive in South Beach and si a total tourist place. No self-respecting South Floridian resident would go the re. Also, the Clevelander is also a bar – Not a nightclub.

The ones in chicago (the only I know from experience) I feel there is no way they make that much.
ROOF maybe but the others like public house and bull & bear? Those are just straight up bars that are charging $6-9 for a beer or drink (cheap in chicago)
