However, I was thinking the other day and I found myself asking myself – why do I care so much about Nik Richie’s opinion? I don’t know you, I’ve never met you, but for some odd reason I DO value your opinion. So Nik Richie, this is my question, why do YOU believe that so many women and men value and cherish your opinion so much that they are willing to alter/change their appearances due to your personal opinions?

If you get down to it, this site isn’t even about Nik and his opinions. He posts maybe one, two short sentences. This site is more about the opinions of the viewers, it’s made up of submitted posts which many many others comment on. He clearly hasn’t thought this thru. But I’m with you, I visit out of boredom waiting at the DMV or while eating lunch so it’s pure entertainment for me and nothing near a guideline on how to live. Plus, LMAO at Nik. Personally, I have noticed that since the whole Sara Jones thing, Nik doesnt really have that much to say. His responses to posts are so tame and boring and never really targets the person in the post except for those he has met personally and he knows isnt going to run to an attorney. It’s simple. Exclusivity. Too many people desperately seek acceptance and attention, thus validating their own self worth. Nik does not give his “stamp of approval” very many times. It becomes some sort of badge of honor to carry, if, by some slight chance he gives even a remote indication of a compliment.
Personally, I think people are far too desperate and broken to see this sick pattern of behaviour that spills over into everything they do, not just this website.
