Will Gay Men Be Accepted In Any Professional Sport
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, so by now everyone knows about Chris Culliver’s comments regarding gay people and how they are not welcome in the 49ers locker room. I wanted to get your opinion on this subject because so many NFL players have come out of the closet once they have retired from the game, so its obvious there is a lot of gay people playing in the NFL. Do you think in any professional sport that gay people will be welcome and not subject to ridicule? I’m gay and when I came out to my high school football team as a senior, I basically lost all my friends and the 2 scholarships offers I had to go play University ball.
