Fluxx Nightclub In San Diego Is Dying Hard
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I see that you love San Diego. I’m not sure if you have ever been to Fluxx, if not NEVER GO! Like most clubs it was hot for 6 months now it’s ghetto as f*ck. They started “Inverted Saturdays” where the bar backs become the bottle servers. We dropped 2k on a table to have a dude serve us drinks. I’ve been to tons of clubs and my boys and I drop money on tables 2-5k minimum. The last thing we want is a dude serving us drinks. This Inverted Saturday business just lost them $12k a year from my crew. Drinks from a bottle need to be served by women with +2′s in my face PERIOD.

They do this so the waitresses bang the customers rather than serve them drinks. You just were not properly setup.
So crazy I thought I was the only one who noticed this, was there last sat and they had guy bottle servers like a gay club.
Fluxx was set up as a fad, and now that fad is dying out.
The poster sounds like a perpetrator. If you were a true baller, then you would have gone to Stingaree or Altitude Sky Lounge. FLuxx has been played out for years.

No, I will not tell you where I hang out. When I go there I don’t want it to be crowded with guys that use words like “perpetrator” or “baller.”

I just wanted to know, because you seem to talk a big game, but the way you responded back, you must hang at the ghetto spots, you might be ghetto, you might be a stripper or work at a strip club. The Hard Rock will remain one of the better places because that name carries weight.
Anonymous, Hard Rock is overcrowded and overrated. I had my brother’s birthday there, and we had one of the booths. If it wasn’t for that, then we would have been packed together with everyone else. That place is even ghetto too. My brother is a thug and ghetto as hell, and he even said it was too ghetto for him. The women there were stuck up, but when they found out we had the booth, they were all too willing to talk to us then. We were not even interested by then. Let’s the skanks defend for themselves. People complained that the line was too long to get drinks, and when they did order it took long to get their drinks.
Fact. Hard rock is the club in sd known for the blow get away. Everyone that works there has it, snorts, and sells it. Its over rated. It is packed because it says hard rock. Randy gerber cindy crawfords husband has banged 45% of the girls that worked there. I think they got sued though.

Looks like another club promoter from elsewhere trying to make a pretend complaint. They get the best acts besides Hard Rock constantly and the guy who recommended Stingaree knows damn well THAT club is dying.
Grant, I live in San Diego. Also born and raised. If you want the truth, here it is. I go to bub’s at the ballpark. I go to Waterfront Bar and Grill. I go to Ignite in Carlsbad. I happen to like Whiskey Girl in the Gaslamp. I go to Bub’s in Pacific Beach. Stingaree is better than Fluxx. My friends who were and are from San Diego, say the same thing about Fluxx that it is played out. Anymore questions or responses let me know.

Anonymous, depends on what time you go there. In the day, the place has the right amount of people. Not overcrowded and people who just want to relax. I go in the day. Now at night time, the crowd changes to being ghetto. Along with Pacific Beach bar and grill. Also along with Moondoggies. I almost forgot to throw in Typhoon Saloon. At night, I avoid that area altogether.
I almost forgot another place. I like East Village Tavern and Bowl as well.

SD club scene was never really impressive to me, but it has some fun stuff here and there.

LOL@ OP. Do you think a club is worried about 12k a year? My crew and I spend about 2k a night here in Vegas 4-5 nights out of the week and I doubt very much if we quit it would devastate them let alone 2k a month. Save your money, invest in some good penny stocks, and come back summer time balling.
Fluxx and f6ix are 2 diff clubs. Can’t comment on f6ix, but Fluxx isn’t to bad. I’ve been burned by clubs people say is popping but be playing the same Crap you can hear on the radio with overpriced watered down drinks.
You idiots. This never transpired at FLUXX. And that photo was taken at a private event in 2010. Everyone has their own tastes. If you don’t like the best entertainment, music, innovative sound and lighting and custom shows we do for out best clients, the you should probably go somewhere that more suits your interests. But I can undoubtedly say that FLUXX is the best nightclub in SD and to some extent, the nation.
The worst part about Fluxx is DJ Scooter. Worst DJ I’ve ever heard. I avoid that place like the plague if he’s going to be there – I won’t even stop in.

Fluxx is lame because of the way they treat their customers suck. I hate that place b/c the bouncers make it seem like its a hot club but now is ghetto as fuck. Insomniac is opening a new club called Basement and its going to be the new hot thing. I still love Stingaree and Voyeur b/c they treat me there with respect since we spend a lot of money buying tables every weekend. Fuck Fluxx and the people that runs it.
To the poster $12k a year isn’t shit for a real bottle service client. It may be a lot to a college kid with dad’s cc. but it sounds like you and your crew should be saving your money b/c even FLUXX knows you don’t have enough cash to bring girls to your table.
Nic FLUXX is dying fast. The last five “performances” there haven’t lasted for more than three minutes. (Mackelmore was legit though) Entertainment is the #1 draw for clubs in San Diego. Shit A$AP Rocky was booed by the entire club. 1,000 pre sold tickets at $10-$40 for a 2 verus show. When they loose that filler crowd they will start loosing the bottle clients too.
Avalon SD, Bassmnt and the remodel of On Broadway, all opening soon, will put FLUXX and Sting in a bad place.
Good luck San Diego Nightlife! Nobody makes real money out there and the 3 new massive nightclubs will hurt everyone A LOT.
