it’s not even her weight that annoys me most…she’s just generally unprepossessing. her face is as average as her body. what happened to the days of beautiful models (claudia schiffer, christie brinkley, etc). it’s like agencies just started signing girls in grocery stores.
The thing I don’t understand about Kate Upton is that she doesn’t bring anything new to the table. She is blonde, busty and attractive, with a little more meat on her bones than the average model, but still smaller than the average woman. How is this a revelation? How is this a game changer? How many busty blondes have come before her, see: Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Anna Nicole Smith, etc etc. Other then that, I don’t understand the hatred for her, is it because she goes against everything that Nik has tried to condition men into believing is attractive about a woman? Also, her body looks just terrible to me in these. I never thought I’d say this, but she actually looks better fat to me. Look at the bottom pics–her arms look like toothpicks and yet she’s still rocking a muffin top. And the workout pic…yuck. No waist, no boobs. Translation: if she dropped thirty lbs, she’d go back to being flat-chested. Fat =/= boobs.
I am a bisexual female so I’d be the first to admit it if I thought she was hot, but I really, really don’t. Anyone–and I really do mean anyone–can look hot with enough makeup and editing. SI might as well just start painting pictures of hot girls and not bother with the expensive photo shoots. I absolutely love how he forgets how thick Shaynne was just a few years ago and VERY easily looks like she could get back that way if she actually consumed food.
