Should I be worried?

Should I be worried?

THE DIRTY ARMY:  Hi Nik, I have an off destination wedding to attend to this coming May. What is everyone’s thoughts on this whole security alert that was issued… should I be worried? Or at least ask my travel agent for a discounted price? Thanks.

DON’T Go… All I know is- Cabo is the second most dangerous city in the WORLD! Which means Playa is #2.5 by default.- nik

The Resort at Pedregal is safe. Love it there.

If the State Dept issued the alert then abide by it! This is serious and you cannot even trust the corrupt police

Playa Del Carmen/Cancun doesn’t even make the list is the top 50 most dangerous cities. Also Cabo is on the OTHER side of Mexico, so no default.

The Daily Mail lists Cabo as the number one most violent city in the world.

My understanding is the Mexican government has increased security in Playa del Carmen, as they take any threat to their tourism industry seriously. Cabo is a whole different situation.

If you’re planning on going to Cozumel- take a direct flight. It may cost a little more but the hassle of flying into Cancun-taking the bus -then walking 2 blocks to the farrier docks with your luggage- then a cab ride where they charge full price at the farrier dock to your hotel just isn’t worth it.

Considering it’s a 46hr drive from Cabo to Playa Del Carmen, that doesn’t make much sense Nik.

Nik that’s the dumbest comment you’ve ever made! Cabo dangerous? Just cuz you’re worried you can’t get back in over that border because you look Mexican don’t talk smack. Real celebrities that you would be loading their luggage go there daily.

Los Cabos is apparently #1 now.

The Cancun area isn’t even in the top 50.

As always, you’re either the bug or the windshield.

    Be the windshield.

(This means temporarily shutting down your curiosity of which IG whore/p4p is doing Pepsi with which of her 24 sponsors to fly private to [expensive destination she could never afford without gobbling lots of Greg] – but hopefully you know that)

I’m sort of the same boat here. How do you feel about traveling to Jamaica now as they are in a state of emergency?
