A Slippery Con Artist — Liam Byrne

THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, Liam Byrne is a professional scammer in Calgary. He put on a small local business event called EDCE siting he wants to help local business but does not pay bills. Liam was caught red-handed not paying bills and somehow always lies and runs off so he can not pay. He is a flat broke hustler hiding behind a corporation and rips off sponsors and vendors by putting on garbage events. Have spoken to several businesspeople and sponsors and they have been scammed money also. Total scam artist. When confronted he gets VERY upset and claim you are in the wrong. Please be cautious and do not do business with this professional con artist. Be extra diligent when conducting business with Liam Byrne if not avoiding him.

    Hi everyone, Liam here again!

As you are all well aware, cyberbullying is wrong and if you feel like you’re a victim there are lots of resources to help you. (except against this silly tabloid website). Bullying.ca is a great one if you’re under 16.

In response to the most recent comment: I hope everyone can see that the only person hiding behind the anything is the individual who continues to hide behind the veil of the internet to cyber-bully my company and me. I don’t have “lots of company names” and I’m being quite up-front about who I am when I write this – maybe whoever you are, you should too?

In any case, emailing mwco.bbb.org contacts the Ontario office (someplace we’ve never operated), although I’m assuming where this person is from? If you have a legitimate concern you should contact the BBB head office, but they’ll, of course, ask for a record of communication between my company and yours ensuring that you attempted to resolve whatever issue it was before they accept your complaint – which won’t exist.

This is why there are no complaints against us at the BBB.

Lastly, just going on a bit of logic – how would your “attorney” contacting our SPONSORS lead whoever you are to the conclusion that WE need to pay up front? Sponsors pay us, not the other way around. And Sponsors always pay us up front.

Again, I’ll ask that whoever you are please reach out in person to me or my team on LinkedIn or email so we can discuss what it is that has caused you to be so upset.

Cheers everyone, and don’t let people push you around!

Get paid upfront. Liam Byrne is a scum sucking bottom feeder that does not pay. Known to hide behind various bogus names and companies. Attorney has called all sponsors and event venues regarding Liam. Gathered from multiple references across Canada that he does not pay. Liam Byrne is a master manipulator who will tell you what you want to hear. Email info (at) mwco.bbb.org if you’re a victim.

    Hi folks,
Just a quick update – if you’d like to know whether or not EDCE paid its Calgary bill please call The Theatre Junction Grand where the event was held. I’m sure they’ll be able to let you know that there is no outstanding balance. The number there is (403) 205-2922

They also have a fantastic restaurant called The Workshop. I highly recommend it!

After many months, the culprit of this weird and invasive article has fiannly surfaced. There are very few people that are aware that I worked with the consulting firm named below. However the individual who has relentlessly commented (with the same grammar errors) has called me out for my work with this firm as they have been wronged, just as I was, and just as a hundred other people on payroll and in business dealings. I do not support any decisions by this firm, and if you are someone who has been damaged by this company, I am offering my service to help you be indemnified as I have been through proper courses of action. This post however, incredibly damaging to my career and family. I have never done anything in my life to harm you or anyone else. If my working for someone and (most likely as your boss) caused you harm, I’m so very sorry and am happy to help. Please reach out on LinkedIn. However, I must state that due to the negative impacts of this resiculous article, and your obvious knowledge of the “MacDonald” dealings, I have hired a private investigator to look into this. My suggestion would be to request to have this article removed. People who are able to access my personal images on social media pose a massive threat to us all. Stay safe out there.

He also came to Winnipeg and I guess is doing this across the country, very poorly DONE events and his main marketing speaker from Toronto also seem to be a slick car salesman trying to sell his advertising by leaving sign up sheets on chairs and a call to action for a back of the room deal. Not worth the money.

Great grammar. You seem to be making the exact same grammatical errors as the person who posted this article. Weird eh?

      Crazy stalking psychotic human.

Liam frauded people from Halifax with a different scheme

    • LiamMay 18, 2018 at 10:08 AM

Oh, which scheme would that be? Could you please elaborate and possibly provide the joint stocks or corporate registration information (which is readily available online) for the company that I was “scheming with”?

      • Run!May 24, 2018 at 3:42 PM

The business with your partner Ralston Macdonald. Remember not to pay employees, sellers and not refund students after canceling a certification course. Liam, who are you trying to cheat? Go get a real job!
