Dirty “doctor” Van Eeden

Dirty “doctor” Van Eeden

THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, OPEN LETTER OF WARNING TO THE PUBLIC! Van Eeden has admitted that he has thrown out approximately 4,000 patient records, labs, requisitions, and referrals. “If it’s important they will come back. I will readminister the tests saying we need more data.” If you are missing test results or have heard nothing back about labs or referrals, it might be a very good idea to question van Eeden about your results.

Van Eeden has run black market steroids through his office while using them himself for YEARS! He has been talking to his UBC students, patients, and friends, and placing them on a “cycle.” In doing so he has secured a cheaper rate for his illegal steroids. Van Eeden has also done medical “favors” for his steroid dealers for a cheaper rate on his purchases with them. This includes, but is not limited to, injecting their Gregs with something analogous to Trimix to dance at sex clubs. Then making house calls to use an off label drug to alleviate the resulting priapism. All while billing the government for the service.

Van Eeden has stolen patient drugs by prescribing more than needed, to secure his own personal supply from their prescription. This is all in order to get high on an almost daily basis from Jan 2017 to October 2017 to my knowledge. This seems to be a very rehearsed behavior from his previous addiction to opioids, which he was still addicted to. By his own admission he would ask patients to bring unused narcotics back to the office for “proper disposal,” and then use them himself.

After the death of a patient due to his negligence and an opioid addiction, which lead to him having his licences suspended for one year, van Eeden still continued to use opioids and use and push black market steroids. The drugs used most recently were Adderall XR, Clonazepam, Tylenol 3, Dexedrine, and Zopiclone. !!!! IMPORTANT !!!! If you were treated during this period (Jan-Oct 2017), it is very possible that mistakes in treatment could have been made due to van Eeden’s highly altered state of mind.

Van Eeden prescribes himself meds for his black market steroid cycles and doles those drugs out to others to combat negative side effects. Van Eeden also uses and gives out syringes for these cycles from his office by the box-load. Van Eeden uses the mirror in the small office to conduct male physicals and compare how much bigger than his patients he is for his own self gratification. Van Eeden has blatantly ignored the regulations and strict protocols, set forth by the Government, to carefully regulate Canada’s Assisted Dying Program (Death With Dignity). He has taken a patients life in his hands by skipping mandatory paperwork and prescribing his own dangerous and deadly opioid and benzodiazepine cocktail. Van Eeden did this as he had become emotionally entangled with the patient who didn’t make the deadline for the legal paperwork. When asked as to why he felt it his right to do so, he said, “I believe doctors should be able to give life and take it away as they see fit.”

What else does van Eeden feel privileged to in his patients lives and wellbeing? The College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia has listed none of his prior convictions, nor have they fully addressed any of these frightening new truths brought forward. Neither his opioid addiction/stealing medication from patients, nor his Negligance Causing Death to one of his patients is listed. When retelling the story van Eeden was only upset and angry that the 3 doctors on the CPSBC panel weren’t the “regular doctors”. If they were, he said he would have been completely exonerated. All 3 doctors on the panel unanimously found that he could have easily prevented the death with the information he had at his disposal. If you have received treatment over the past year, I would suggest you get a second opinion or ask van Eeden to show you your results from tests you’ve had taken. Important medical symptoms may have gone unnoticed due to van Eeden being in an altered state, or worse still, thrown away with the other ~4,000 patient documents.

A quick search on the college of physicians and surgeons of British Columbia will show that Dr. van Eeden has no regulatory actions against him. In other words, he has no limitations on his medical license which would be present if he did have a problem with opioid prescribing or history of a suspended license. Additionally, as a medical student who has personally worked with Dr. Van Eeden, I can attest that everything said in this article is ridiculous. The person who wrote this most likely has their own addiction/mental health issues and from the sound of their overly fabricated story should probably be seen by a psychiatrist. If a family doc did the kinds of things the person above was stating it would make front page news, not some f’d up article on the dirty…

These are life ruining accusations. You better have your facts straight or you could have a law suit slapped on you for defamation of character. Becoming a doctor is a long time commitment and to defame a person on their merits is very life altering. Just saying.
