BREAKING NEWS: President Trump Calls Out CNN Again For Fake News
While the 45th President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has been obsessed with “fake news” for a while, some thought that this obsession would stop once he took office.
From a tweet he just issued within the hour, it seems Trump is still fixated on fake news.
“Congratulations to @FoxNews for being number one in inauguration ratings,” he tweeted.
“They were many times higher than FAKE NEWS @CNN,” he continued.
He also added that the “public is smart.”
We looked into the ratings and ratings site TV By The Numbers claimed Trump’s 12 O’clock inauguration on Fox News received 2.316 million viewers, whereas CNN got 1.091 million.
Of course, Fox News is more right wing than CNN as a whole, so it makes sense Trump’s supporters would tune in there over CNN.
Regardless, the numbers definitely don’t correlate with the term “fake news,” as both networks covered the same inauguration.
We’ll chalk the “fake news” term up to a case of “Trump being Trump,” but applaud that the facts quoted were actually facts, and not alternative facts.
