Donald Trump On International Women’s Day- I Have Tremendous Respect For Women
Today is International Women’s Day and, due to the current administration, it is also being coined as A Day Without A Woman. This is similar to the Day Without An Immigrant event that took place last month.
On this day, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to talk about women.
“I have tremendous respect for women and the many roles they serve that are vital to the fabric of our society and our economy,” he began with, using one of his favorite words “tremendous.”
“On International Women’s Day, join me in honoring the critical role of women here in America & around the world,” he added.
Trump then issued one more tweet, which may or may not be about women in the workforce, as he didn’t specify specifically who he was referring to.
“LinkedIn Workforce Report: January and February were the strongest consecutive months for hiring since August and September 2015,” he claimed.
It will be interesting to see as the day goes on if he mentions anything about the Day Without A Woman. Something tells us he won’t, as that would be giving it more attention. We’re also fairly certain most women- especially those participating in today’s event- don’t feel that he has “tremendous” respect for women.
