EXCLUSIVE: Donald Trump Was Told To Stay Off Twitter After Congress Speech
Last week, The Dirty covered President Donald Trump‘s excellent speech to Congress. While Trump has been a character both before and throughout his presidency, this was the first time that even the anti-Trump crowd could acknowledge he sounded extremely presidential.
After his speech, he took some time away from Twitter (be it, a short two days). We have exclusively learned that he was advised that this would be a good idea.
“President Trump was advised that he should not jump back on Twitter and post things like he’s been doing after getting such strong recognition for his speech to Congress,” a source dished to us.
“However, as many have seen, our President is truly the king of his castle, and his break from Twitter was not a long one,” they added. “He enjoys Twitter as a means of communicating his thoughts, regardless of how they come off to the public.”
As those who have been following his Twitter account know, this week his tweets have only continued to get more and more- shall we say- fascinating.
