White House Holds Briefing And Blocks Certain Press Outlets
While President Donald Trump has done many different things thus far in comparison to other Presidents, today things went to a new level when a press briefing was held by Press Secretary Sean Spicer that only certain media outlets were allowed to attend, while others were blocked from attending.
Specifically, the following publications were not allowed to attend:
- The New York Times
- The Los Angeles Times
Unsurprisingly, the following publications were allowed to attend:
- Breitbart News
- The one America News Network
- The Washington Times
- The Wall Street Journal
- Fox News
While there’s a lot it seems this administration seems confused about and misguided on, freedom of the press is one of the first amendment rights. To think that the White House would so blatantly violate this is, simply, asinine.
