Aaron Hernandez’s Sexuality Reportedly Being Examined For Murder Motive
Friday, the Daily Mail reported that one of the three suicide notes Aaron Hernandez left in his jail cell was for his gay lover in prison.
Sources close to the investigation told Daily Mail that, “the third letter was written to Hernandez’s gay prison lover, who has not been identified but was believed to be the last person Hernandez spoke to before he took his own life.”
After the Daily Mail report dropped, Newsweek’s Michelle McPhee, who has been covering the Hernandez murder case for some time, reported that Hernandez’s sexuality was once probed as a potential motive in the Lloyd case by police.
McPhee’s report discussed that Hernandez allegedly had an “intimate relationship with a male former high school classmate” and that this “was at the center of the investigation into Lloyd’s murder.”
A co-defendant in the case reportedly informed detectives Lloyd had used a word Hernandez had “taken… as a gay slur” and this is being investigated as possibly having had a hand in Lloyd’s murder.
