Austin Jones of YouTube Fame Arrested, Allegedly Asked Underage Fans For Explicit Videos
Singer Austin Jones, who was famous for being a YouTube star, was arrested Monday night at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport according to multiple reports that have surfaced.
The reports claim that Jones allegedly had been messaging with two of his fans who were 14 years old, allegedly trying to get them to send explicit, sexual videos of themselves, as well as pictures.
While Jones already appeared in court yesterday where the charges against him were gone over- as well as the possible consequences he may be facing for them- today he is expected to appear in court again for a detention hearing.
As of now, he remains in prison.
Interestingly enough- as can be seen in the YouTube video above- this isn’t Jone’s first scandal, as back in 2015, Jones issued a video apologizing after he was “attacked on social media” for asking fans to send him “twerking videos.”
In the apology video, he said, “nothing ever went further than twerking videos. There were never any nudes.”
We will keep you posted with updates regarding this situation.
