Barak Obama – Tells Final Words As He Leaves Oval Office
This morning, the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, is leaving the White House, as the 45th President, Donald J. Trump, will be sworn in this morning.
Media caught up with Obama this morning, as he left the Oval Office for the last time. As he walked out, they asked him if he had any final words for the American people as he departed the Oval Office.
Obama turned to the media and simply said, “Thank you.”
He then walked by them and walked back inside The White House.
After he appeared, Joe Biden and his wife appeared, and also followed Obama back into The White House.
Soon, Trump and his wife, Melania, will be meeting the Obamas at the White House for the traditional greeting and tea.
Obama made his final tweets as POTUS – “As we look forward, I want our first steps to reflect what matters most to you. Share your thoughts with me at Obama.org.” He also added, “I’m still asking you to believe- not in my ability to bring about change, but in yours. I believe in you.”
