EXCLUSIVE: ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star Todd Chrisley – Heads to Court to Save Home from Foreclosure, Says Ex-Business Partner Forged His Signature on Bank Documents
The Dirty can exclusively reveal Chrisley Knows Best star Todd Chrisley has headed to court to save his Georgia home from being foreclosed on and the reality star believes his ex-business partner forged his signature on bank docs … and is pleading not to have his pad taken from him.
The reality star explains he’s the owner of a home located in Alpharetta, Georgia. He purchased the 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 3,038 sq. ft. home for $452,900. Recently, he filed suit against Homebanc Mortgage Corporation seeking to stop a scheduled foreclosure sale of his home … saying he didn’t even sign the mortgage docs in question
He explains the signature on the bank documents is not his and he did not sign the mortgage or accompanying documents and the same contains a forgery of his name. Further, he claims his name has been forged upon other loans for other properties he owns including in South Carolina. He believes his former business partner is at the root of the forgeries.
Chrisley says it would cause him irreparable harm if the bank is allowed to foreclosure on his home as a result of forgery. He says his property is in imminent danger of being sold off by the bank … with a foreclosure sale having been scheduled for January 3rd – which was cancelled after he filed suit.
The reality star is demanding an injunction against his home from being put up at auction and for the mortgage in question be removed from the title. The bank has yet to respond. The home is currently on the market for $554,900 with $10k being cut from the price last week.
