EXCLUSIVE: Andrew Puzder – To Be Appointed As Secretary Of Labor Thursday
While many of President Donald Trump‘s cabinet picks have been scrutinized by the media, it doesn’t seem like that is scaring him from continuing to pick who he wants to get the job done.
According to an insider close to the Trump administration, Andrew Puzder, the CEO of CKE restaurants (which owns Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr.)- who had previously been reported to be Trump’s pick- is getting set to be appointed as Trump’s Secretary of Labor.
“Andrew Puzder’s appointment is set for Thursday,” our source told us, “and this is not going to sit well with Democrats and liberals.”
“Puzder has come under fire for what some deem as commercials for his restaurant being sexist,” our insider explained. “Democrats will also likely argue he’s incompetent and wrong for the job. Protests are also likely to break out regarding this.”
In addition, our source noted that Puzder is “very against a $15.00 minimum wage.”
In previous reports, Puzder had alluded he doesn’t really care if people criticize his ads- such as the one above about the “3 way burger”- noting that, “Those complaints aren’t necessarily bad for us. What you look at is, you look at sales. And, our sales go up.”
Of course, as with anything political, the dates and time of his appointment may change, but from what our source was able to dish, we can definitely expect to see it this Thursday.
