EXCLUSIVE: Candyce Gagnard Perret – Republican Candidate for the Third Circuit Court of Appeal Judge – Arrested For Exposure Of Sexual Organs
Candyce Gagnard Perret describes herself on her current public Facebook page- where she’s the running as the Republican Candidate for the Third Circuit Court of Appeal Judge in Louisiana- as an “attorney, former city prosecutor, small business owner.” What she fails to mention is that she was formerly arrested for “exposure of sexual organs” back in 2004.
According to an exclusive police report The Dirty has obtained, she “was found naked on a public beach in the seaside community in Watson County Florida. Mrs. Gagnard was witnessed in this state of nudeness by two seaside security officers. This did occur in Watson County.”
The official charge- for which a bond of $1000 was set- was “exposure of sexual organs.”
We did reach out to her campaign manager, Marie Centanni, who told us exclusively that, “The report in question, more than a decade old, contains misinformation. A large group of people were swimming late at night, some decided to skinny-dip and Candyce was falsely identified as one of them. Candyce did nothing wrong and the charges were dropped.”
According to a report that ran on March 3rd in the Lousiana local news site The Daily Iberian, notes that “Perret never has been an assistant district attorney, according to her LinkedIn profile” and that Centanni, when asked about this, had referenced that profile.
“She never provided that information,” Centanni also told them of the part of the report that claims she worked for the Assistant District Attorney.
While that initial report had details of the incident, they did not have a copy of the police report, which we have included here.
On her website, Candyce describes herself as a “lifelong conservative.” The report we’ve obtained certainly calls that into question.
