EXCLUSIVE: Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller – Pleads with Judge to Let Her Leave Country
The Dirty can exclusively reveal Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller is set to be sentenced in her bankruptcy fraud criminal case later this month … but the reality star is now pleading to leave the country only days before the hearing.
Abby plead guilty to bankruptcy fraud last year, following the reality star being charged over accusations she hide money from her reality show during her Chapter 11.
Back in 2015, the reality star was charged with attempting to hide $775,000 of income from her television shows.
The reality star is awaiting sentencing in the case. She is facing up to a $5 million dollar fine and 5 years in prison.
Then on February 10th, Abby headed to court to plead with the judge to allow her to leave the country days before her sentencing in the case.
The sentencing is scheduled to take place on February 24th in Federal Court. However, the reality star says she has business opportunities prior to the hearing in London, England from the 16th-20th and Newcastle, England on the 21st.
She argues her livelihood depends, in part, on her ability to travel for business opportunities, including internationally.
