EXCLUSIVE: Dean Sheremet Reacts To New LeAnn CD Sales – “She Never Evolves”
Recently, OK Magazine ran a story on sales of LeAnn Rimes‘s latest album Remnants, that was released February 3rd. According to the report, the album sold under 4,500 copies in its first week.
They noted in the story that the title song talks about the “falling apart” when Eddie Cibrian had an affair, left their spouses, and got married. Specifically, OK went on to talk to a source who felt this may be impacting the weak sales, as they said, “The way LeAnn defended her affair with Eddie soured people on her.”
We reached out exclusively to Rimes’s ex-husband, Dean Sheremet, to get his reaction to the story.
“I just don’t know why she thinks people still care about that part of her life,” he exclusively told us. “It’s been re hashed over and over.”
“It’s time for her to move on,” he added. “She should Stop writing the same songs with the same producers.”
Sheremet wrapped with telling us that, “She talks of evolution but never evolves.”
While we’re not into taking sides, sometimes life is about winning, and we definitely would say Sheremet is coming out victorious here. Also, the lifelong lesson of “cheaters never win” is clearly being reaffirmed. You go, Dean!
