EXCLUSIVE: Fetty Wap – Rapper Didn’t Jack Beats for “Trap Queen” from Danish Songwriter, Music Producer Blasts Suit over Hit Track
The Dirty can exclusively reveal Fetty Wap didn’t steal music from a Danish songwriter and use it for his hit “Trap Queen” … so says the producer who worked on the track and is demanding the lawsuit against the rapper be thrown out of court.
The Danish songwriter, Lazar Lakic, sued Fetty and producer Tony Fadd last year. He claimed he purchased an exclusive beat from Fadd called “Hello” back in 2014. However, he later heard the same beat used in “Trap Queen” despite him having purchased it
He was furious his beat was used and ended up going 4x platinum … without ever getting a cut. He sued demanding all profits from “Trap Queen” and a court order destroying all copies of the album.
Recently, Fetty’s music producer Tony Fadd fired off a letter in the case explaining Lakic is a liar. He explains he sold the songwriter a non-exclusive beat back in 2014 … saying he could sell the same beat to a number of people and it would not be a breach of contract. Fadd is demanding the entire case be tossed out of court.
