EXCLUSIVE: Jerry Lee Lewis – Son-in-Law Slams Accusations He Defrauded Singer out of $5 Million
The Dirty can exclusively reveal Jerry Lee Lewis’ son-in-law is firing back at allegations he defrauded him out of $5 million … pointing the finger to his wife and the singer’s daughter … telling the musician he should be suing her instead.
The legendary singer – along with his wife Judith, daughter Lori and son Jerry Lee Lewis III – filed a $1 million dollar suit against his daughter Phoebe’s husband Ezekiel Loftin.
Jerry claimed the man uses his daughter to garner fame and notoriety as the son-in-law of a musical legend, despite having a contentious relationship with the rest of the Lewis family. He said his son-in-law regularly used Facebook to attack social media users on his fan pages.
Loftin fired back at the musician’s lawsuit saying he never defamed Lewis.
Then earlier this week, Jerry Lee filed docs explaining he recently discovered his son-in-law along with co-conspirators defrauded him out of $5 million … spending his money on everything from homes, plastic surgery and withdrawing hundreds of thousands from the bank.
Loftin denied he stole millions saying Jerry’s daughter Phoebe – and his wife – is the one the singer should be suing NOT him. He says that is the “co-conspirator” being referred by the singer.
He explains Phoebe was Jerry’s manager for years and if he has any issue over the time they worked together he needs to sue her … pointing out he didn’t list her as a defendant in this suit nor did ever name her in docs. He says these allegations have no relevance to the case at hand.
