EXCLUSIVE: RHOC Filming Beginning Without Kelly Dodd, With Lydia McLaughlin
While we have been reporting on the upcoming twelfth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, including the fact that Heather Dubrow has quit the show, we have now learned exclusively that filming is set to begin tomorrow.
An insider tipped The Dirty off that Vicki Gunvalson’s son, Michael Wolfdmsith, posted the following to his Facebook: “We start filming the show again tomorrow. Season 12. It really is never going to end.”
This confirms that the show is beginning production and that Vicki Gunvalson is definitely back for season 12.
Others we hear are definitely back inlcude Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador.
Some of our sources have told us that Kelly Dodd will not be back, while others have claimed she may be. One source dished that she has “yet to receive a contract,” but we’re hearing it is definitely still possible.
Interestingly enough, multiple sources have confirmed to us that prior RHOC wife Lydia McLaughlin will return in a full time capacity, although we’re having a hard time 100% believing this one due to her lack of popularity with the fans when she was on a few years back. Also, Lydia only lasted one season, and Bravo has yet to ever bring back someone in a full time capacity that was on one season and then left.
The Dirty already reported exclusively that Meghan King Edmonds had been offered a friend contract, which she rejected.
We will be sure to keep you posted with any updates as they arise, so stay tuned to The Dirty.
