Jared Kushner – Met With Russian Ambassador Before Trump Took Office
While there has been a lot of talk in news surrounding President Donald Trump’s win of Russian involvement, late yesterday The White House released a statement confirming that Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and Michael Flynn, who stepped down recently from Trump’s cabinet, met with Russian’s Ambassador Sergey I. Kisylak.
The White House claims this meeting was to “establish a line of communication” between Trump’s then almost incoming administration and Russia.
Although the nature of this meet- as the White House is describing- isn’t inappropriate, this fact being confirmed is relevant to an ongoing investigation the FBI is currently doing to look into Russian interference with Trump winning the presidency.
Based on this, we are sure this is not the last report we will hear regarding meetings (whether in person or on the phone) between Russian officials and members of Trump’s cabinet.
