EXCLUSIVE: Johnny Depp – My Ex-Business Managers Screwed Me Harder Than I Thought
The Dirty can exclusively reveal Johnny Depp has headed back to court in his $25 million legal battle with his former business managers – who he accuses of ruining his finances but pocketing millions in commissions – and he says he now discovered they cost him $2 million more in tax penalties than he first thought.
The actor filed a $25 million+ fraud lawsuit against his former business managers at The Management Group, who he fired in 2016 and his new managers discovered alleged financial misconduct.
The firm fired back accusing the actor of living an expensive high life with 14 homes, $18 million luxury yacht and even dropping $30k a month on fancy wine. He allegedly spent extravagantly on staff, homes and gifts.
Depp claims since filing his original lawsuit he has discovered new information about his financial harm. He explains that he recently been hit with an additional $2 million in penalties and interest for his tax returns … which he says is a direct result of the firms actions.
The additional $2 million is on TOP of the already $5,690,549 he says his new team discovered could have been easily avoided if the firm wasn’t negligent.
He says his continued review of his finances has revealed even more negligence including inaccurate financial information being provided for loans in his name.
