EXCLUSIVE: Justin Bieber – Brings Doctor Note to Judge, Says He Didn’t Fake Illness to Blow off Deposition
The Dirty can exclusively reveal Justin Bieber has brought his doctors note to court … following accusations he faked an illness to blow off a deposition only to hit the club hours later … with the pop star pleading with the judge not to sanction him because he wasn’t lying.
Last year, musician Casey Dienel sued Bieber accusing him of using her vocals for the hit song “Sorry” without permission or paying her. She sued demanding damages for illegally profiting off her. Bieber fired back denying he used her vocals and demanded the case be tossed.
Earlier this month, Dienel accused Bieber of blowing off a scheduled deposition in Santa Monica claiming he was sick … only to be snapped at a nightclub later that day and posting to his social media photos of him drinking with friends. She demanded he be sanctioned.
Bieber fired back today explaining the musician is trying to play dirty legal games in an attempt to harass him and extract an unfair settlement. He says he didn’t write the hit song “Sorry” and points out the plaintiff should depose the songwriters before him … since he has minimal information to share.
The pop star filed a doctor’s note – under seal – to prove he was ill and says despite being seen out after skipping the depo … he says going out with friends does not immunize someone from illness. Bieber says he is unavailable for some time due to his world tour, which won’t wrap up until September. He is demanding her motion for sanctions he shut down.
