Kellyanne Conway On Wiretapping – “I’m Not In The Job Of Having Evidence”

While Kellyanne Conway has been known to make some eyebrow raising comments in the past- cough, alternative facts, cough- one she recently made to Chris Cuomo on CNN’s New Day is garnering a lot of negative attention.

When talking about the wiretapping claims, Conway stated that, “I’m not Inspector Gadget.”

“I’m not in the job of having evidence,” she continued. “That’s what investigations are for. I have said many, many times throughout the week that the president is pleased that the House and Senate intelligence committees have agreed that this should be part of the investigation that already exists about Russia and the campaign, an investigation that apparently has gone nowhere so far.”

This is a very interesting comment, especially at the end where she notes that the investigation- particularly the one involving Russia- “has gone nowhere so far.”
