EXCLUSIVE: Magic City – Legendary ATL Strip Club Settles Class Action Suit With Exotic Dancers
The Dirty can exclusively reveal legendary ATL strip club Magic City has settled the years long class action lawsuit with former dancers …. who sued claiming they were screwed out of wages for years.
Back in 2014, a bunch of former Magic City dancers filed a class action suit accusing the club of never paying them a dime in wages … instead labeling them as “work for hire”. The girls even had to pay a fee to strip every night. The club would allegedly fine them for being late, make them pay penalties if their outfits were up to standards and even had to pay out a portion of their tips to the house mom.
The girls sued Magic City for back wages for all hours worked at the club. The company fired back saying the dancers were greedy ungrateful women looking to shake down the club that helped them make them dollar bills.
Magic City pointed out their club is legendary and their dancers can make thousands in one night and even one 5 minute lap dance is more than minimum wage. They demanded the case be tossed.
Then on March 3rd, docs were filed in the case stating Magic City and their ex-dancers have finally reached a settlement in the case. Per their deal the entire suit be will be dismissed following nearly 3 years with the parties battling it out.
