Mike Pence Issues Warning To North Korea
While President Donald Trump recently talked about North Korea, Vice President Mike Pence is currently in South Korea and issued a warning to North Korea while there.
According to reports, Pence stated that North Korea shouldn’t “test the strength of the armed forces of the United States.”
He also noted in what he said that the US could possibly have talks with North Korea “through peaceable means, through negotiations.”
No decision has been ultimately made yet on what the US will definitively do in terms of North Korea.
While in South Korea, Pence issued a few tweets, including:
- “On behalf of @POTUS I am here to express the unwavering support of the United States for our longstanding alliance with S Korea.”
- “My message to S Korea is: We are with you 100%. Even in these troubled times, we stand with you for a free & secure future.”
- “Strategic patience has been the approach of last admin & beyond. That approach has failed. The era of strategic patience is over.”
- “Our 2 nations have bled together. We’ve prospered together. And, the people of the USA & S Korea will face the future together.”
