Mike Pence Responds To Wiretapping Allegations

Within the past week, one of the biggest stories regarding President Donald Trump has been his claims that former President Barack Obama had Trump Tower wiretapped before the election.

Recently, Vice President Mike Pence was asked about the wiretapping and if he believes Obama did this or not.

The only comment Pence provided on the situation was that, “What I can say is that the President and our administration are very confident that the congressional committees in the House and Senate that are examining issues surrounding the last election- the run up to the last election- will do that in a thorough or equitable way.”

This is definitely an interesting answer, as he does not directly say whether or not he actually believes that Obama did this. Rather, in a roundabout way, Pence just says that he believes House and Senate committees will examine “issues” surrounding the election and do so in an “equitable way.”

It will be enthralling to see if Pence speaks out anymore on this. If we had to bet on it, we’d wager that this is the only comment he is going to release on it, as it’s such a controversial issue.
