EXCLUSIVE: Ne-Yo – Drops $8 Million Legal Battle against Ex-Business Manager’s Firm over Allegedly Stolen Money
The Dirty can exclusively reveal Ne-Yo has dropped his $8 million dollar legal battle against his ex-business manager’s firm … where he accused the man of stealing millions from him over the years despite being his close confident.
Back in 2014, the singer sued his former business manager, Kevin Foster, for $8 million. He accused the man – who worked with him since 2005 – and his company Foster & Firm of stealing millions, forging bank documents and investing his money into a failing water company
Foster fired back at Ne-Yo’s complaint saying he was hired to manage his finances and was to be paid 5% commission. He denied committed fraud for stealing millions from the singer and demanded the suit be tossed months later, the ex-business manager was indicted by a Federal jury. He was charged with wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy to commit money laundering. His criminal case is pending.
Then on March 8th, Ne-Yo filed docs in his $8 million lawsuit informing the court he’s dropping the entire case and all claims against Foster & Firm, his ex-business manager’s company.
The singer is set to face off in court soon in his $2.3 million suit with CitiBank over allegations they were negligent in protecting his money from Foster.
