EXCLUSIVE: Rapper Twista – Drops $125k to Settle Decades Old Tax Debt with Uncle Sam
The Dirty can exclusively reveal Twista can breathe a little easier with Uncle Sam off his back … with the rapper dropping $124k to settle decade’s old tax debts with the IRS.
According to court records, Twista – real name Carl Terrell Mitchell – coughed up $124,703 to settle decades old tax debt with the Federal Government.
The IRS filed a release of federal tax lien over tax debt from 2005 ($61,699.28), 2006 ($12,367.72) and 2007 ($50,636.60)
The rapper can breathe a little easier having settled the years of back taxes … but back in 2015 he was hit with a separate lien over $30k in unpaid federal taxes.
The lien accused Twista of screwing Uncle Sam out of taxes for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
