EXCLUSIVE: Steve Francis – THIRD Violation Report in DWI Case, Tested Positive for Alcohol And Car Breathalyzer Locked Out for HIGH BAC
The Dirty can exclusively reveal ex-NBA star Steve Francis is hit with a THIRD violation report in his DWI case … this time for testing positive for alcohol and his car breathalyzer having high BAC attempts.
Back in December, Francis was arrested for drunk driving in Houston. He refused to take the field sobriety test and was booked for DWI and possession of marijuana.
Francis was released on bond with conditions order by the judge. He was ordered to install a breathalyzer in his car and no drinking or taking drugs. Shortly after he was found in violation for not having the device installed on time.
The judge then ordered him to wear an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet along with a GPS tracking device since he can’t leave the state. Days later he was accused of blowing off his SCRAM appointment and found in violation again.
Then recently, Francis was hit with a THIRD violation report due in the criminal case. The docs state he tested positive for alcohol last month.
Francis’ interlock device – which he finally installed – was even locked out due to too many high BAC attempts … with the report stating, “An unidentifiable male can be seen blowing the high BAC reading of .34 and .40”.
