Suge Jacob Knight Jr – Without My Dad, There’d Be No Dre Or Tupac
This past week was the twentieth anniversary of the death of one of the best rappers of all time, The Notorious B.I.G. As fans remember, Biggie was murdered when tensions were high between East Coast and West Coast rappers- specifically, between him and Tupac Shakur, who was also murdered.
Recently, Suge Jacob Knight Jr., the son of Death Row Records founder Suge Knight, appeared on The Tomorrow Show With Kevin Undergaro. While there, he talked about how, without his father, there would be no Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, or Tupac.
“Honestly, it’s no disrespect for them,” his son said, “but you know there wouldn’t obviously be no Tupac, obviously no Snoop.”
“If we went further,” he added, “there probably wouldn’t be Dre Beats.”
This is definitely a very bold statement to make- and one that Dre and Snoop, who are both still living, would likely disagree with.
