EXCLUSIVE: T.I. – Blasts $700k Legal Battle with Jeweler, Rappers Says He Doesn’t Owe a Dime
The Dirty can exclusively reveal T.I. is blasting the jeweler suing him for $700k in damages over allegedly unpaid invoices with the rapper demanding the suit be thrown out … due to him never signing his name to any agreement to pay for the pieces.
Last year, Georgia based jeweler, Aydin & Co., sued the rapper accusing him of screwing them out of $400k. The company stated they delivered a 18.5 karat white gold bracelet along with a gold rosary and ring to T.I. back in 2014. He paid them $20,000 which left an unpaid balance of $44k for the pieces.
Aydin said T.I. was a customer for over a decade and he currently owes them over $400k for pieces he hadn’t paid for despite keeping possession. They sued for in excess of $700k in damages. The rapper blasted the jeweler and demanded the suit be thrown out.
Then recently, the rapper headed to court demanding the judge immediately throw out the entire lawsuit and not award a dime to Aydin. He explains during the discovery of the case … the jeweler presented the alleged invoices for the unpaid pieces …. but NONE of them are signed by him.
T.I. says he was never provided with the invoices prior to the lawsuit being filed and accuses the company of not handing over any communications including possible texts in which he stated he agreed to make payments for the jewelry.
